it sounds nice whatever it is, but thats just one or two sounds we've had so far, this seemed less teleharmonium than the last to me, a bit more digital pad, than a reed organ type sound?

I still think it’s granular something. The A/B and Zone references makes me think this will be very flexible and likely have spoke spatial tricks like XPO & QPAS.

they better not wait till sunday to drop this :o
the suspense is killing me!!!

LOL, they've got you by the short and curlies.

That shift light looked like it had two separate LEDs in it blinking with different patterns.

I still say it sounds very much like FM synthesis with multiple carriers -- I've gotten similar, if dirtier, sounds from my Akemie's Castle. That's not to say it's not something granular or otherwise buffer-based and they just happen to be using that as the content, but I wouldn't use that for my product demo unless I just wanted to intentionally obscure things.

Some noise floor in that video but Instagram is not exactly the pinnacle of pristine sound reproduction. I'm just predicting 60-page threads on MW where 48 of the pages are about the noise floor. :hihi:

Anyway, I still think maybe MN is announcing multiple things.

I'm curious, I'm more interested to see what, if anything, that Klavis has new. Befaco has announced they have a case, yawn. Obviously I want to know if Behringer's cooking anything up, but they don't really keep thigs under wraps so I think that we know what they're eventually going to make and then some.

FM, done right, would be more interesting to me than another take on Morphagene, but I do find the Make Noise Magick Mojo Melodrama a bit annoying.

And hopefully all of them are just t-shirts with different designs.

Befaco's case actually kinda looks great to me with that VESA mount. Something I will keep in mind if I decide I really need more Euro stuff and the semi-modulars are going away.

Xaoc dropped their new stuff on Modulargrid. The one that has me curious is Rostock, a shift register/delay for their Liebniz system. You can clock each bit individually if you want, which could be great fun for patterns and sequences. 64 stages max is good for sequences, but it's miniscule for audio, so I'm gonna reserve excitement until after some demos. I wasn't happy with a Doepfer 256-stage BBD even.

To clarify, I agree, but I just don't care about cases at the moment. I'm not meh'ing Befaco, I'm meh'ing cases.

Well, if you chained up 16 you could have 1024 stages.

Just don't ask for 'photo evidence', which you will not be able to un-see.
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

i did suspect shifting through samples, but completely forgot the shift for changing knob or button functions :dog:

the red and green had me thinking record vs play, now im thinking positive/negative cv like the mixer on 0coast?

I'm hoping for a new Telharmonic. "Focus" pretty much fits the concept.
