sorry if it might look redoundant, but here an example of an arrangement/production entirely made with custom IRs created from scratch used in replacement of usual reverberations as well as coloring filter/spreader for the shortest of them
https://soundcloud.com/perbuatan1883/sugar-organ-23
my taste make them feel excessively sweet, perhaps a bit too much but they need to be intensively experienced to find the right balance,
more details about this peculiar technique on a thread of the effect forum :

here another track , similarly processed in where, as exercise of style, all reverb are replaced by these impulse responses ,focused on the current tonality (A#/Bb Myxolydian mode that is a modal transposition of the E#/Fb Major tonality)
https://soundcloud.com/perbuatan1883/midnight-omnibus
you might noticed how much this technique is enhancing the harmonies inside the peculiar tonality, its of my experience to see how its easy to add them in excess because the result is always pleasantly harmonious even when the mix becomes blurry, both good and bad of their use

here an a advice for composers and arrangers, also at a certain degree for sound engineer, considering that the tonalities you'd use are somehow limited, here downloads that are strictly bounded to the tonalities you might use for your usual work :
for A Major (and all the related modal transpositions)

I assume that you all are skilled with these harmonic consideration in your work as arranger and composer ,
...so keep in mind that this is what currently makes theses impulse responses second to none in their ways
so try to work in conjunction with the related tonality you choose for you arrangement or composition

here a more unlashed example of instrumental composition entirely bounded to these IRs at the described scale (E myxolydian) ...each track being treated both as coloring filters/spreaders (the shortest of them at 100% wet) and sympathetic resonances ( on a dry/wet mix situation ,... except at the intro )
