someone might have already put this but... "Big Velvet Elvis" was a good name (but maybe you have to spend some time in TJ to appreciate it). Never actually saw the band though.

Concerning Dee, etc.: Millie (the lovely skunkette sitting next to me) recalls this from youth... Her sister ordered a record by this group from England. Title: "Bend It."
When it arrived the package was marked "Do Not Bend."
