Maybe this will help. In Cubase with MIDI Monitor on, here's a minimal sequence of events that show the problem. No other notes/keys are involved.

Thank you for your feedback. As already mentioned before I will check out if the sustain pedal behavior can be enhanced for certain special situations.
I want to point our that the sustain pedal in Saurus behaves this way since over a decade and we received only two requests for a change here. This does show that either very few people use a sustain pedal or those who do don't care about it.
There is a valid reason why Saurus currently switches off all notes when you release the sustain pedal: To prevent hanging notes while the arpeggiator is playing or when duplicate Midi notes have arrived. A hanging note can be very annoying and avoiding this situation has high priority.

Also do also note the different play modes for Saurus:

OldPoly8 - In this mode the Voice handling behaves similar to that on old 8 voice
polyphonic synthesizers. If the note is already playing and the same note is triggered
again the same voice will be used and the envelopes are retriggered in a soft way. The
advantage of this mode is that the voice mix will be less 'muddy' when melodies are
played in a fast way and the CPU usage is low.

• Poly16 - Modern, polyphonic voice handling with 16 voices.
The maximum number of voices playing at the same time is 64 when 4x Unison is used together
with Poly16 mode (64 = 16x4).

Fair enough. Knowing it's intentional on your part ... well I'm sure I could learn to live with it. However, since it does behave differently than almost any other soft synth out there, I'd suggest that you put an explanation in the manual so that others don't assume it's a bug.

I'm TRYING to demo the demos but every minute or so there's this really annoying woman stating "PLEASE SUPPORT OUR WORK AND BUY THE PRODUCT" & it gets truly annoying after 10 minutes and it's sure destroying my experience in reason 12 with Tone 2 synths. I thought they seemed under par to the previous release but then saw a note that many presets were only available on the purchased synths. I'll try to find the previous releases for comparison, thanks

Yes, the voice is a bit intrusive, like on Sylenth1.

There never have been sounds missing in any demo version from any product from tone2.
The previous demo version had a time limit of 20 minutes. This was removed and replaced with a voiceover.
You can get rid of the 'annoying voice' by purchasing a full version for only €59.

"Annoying" voice is there for a reason, IDK what people are thinking. They want dropouts or static? Too bad, you get a voice deal with it.

Well, the goal of a demo mode is not to irritate potential customers, but to merely prevent the use of the demo version in production. So, random 3-second intervals of silence might be better.

It makes me want to uninstall it as soon as I hear it.

@Markus, that is a pretty smart statement to make when we are talking about $169 USD and having spent $2,000 last month with reason studios and $2,000 between spitfire and native instruments then with all due respect I would like to have a decent demo without some American woman with an annoying voice telling me every minute to buy it you know very smart but I am very serious about learning the fine arts of DAWs and yes I can take a screenshot of the demo tone 2 synth that stated not the entire range of presets was available unless you purchase the full amount. I would think I am making a valid comment about the voice every minute but I can see that this is going to be a no-win situation for myself so I will just leave it there but just to let you know that I am serious in spending my money even though I'm not a professional but I do like tinkering with music and was all set last night to buy a few of your synths but in trying to explore the whole software it got to the stage where I nearly ripped out a brand new pair of Audio-Technica headphones from the laptop such was my frustration that hearing this really annoying voice. I'm sure that many will defend you but I'm also pretty sure that others would get pretty upset as well but I am spending another $4,000 this week on a new laptop and I have a few ks to spend and quite like the old Tone 2 synthesizers. Have a fabulous Sunday

I think the time limit is the best method to demo synths. I was lucky that in the time I was buying Tone2 synths, there was a time of 20 minutes limit for the demos every time I insert them. That was enough for me to decide.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Besides checking your system with the demo versions, listening to various audio demos can help you decide also. Tone2 has a lot of them available. :)

I just find it extremely trivial to fuss about the demo protection. But what can you expect here. A fantastic Developer here has to listen to nonsense like this and I'm sure it can be aggravating- yeah that's my opinion, annoying people here are more annoying than the "voice" in the Tone2 demo.

If you're reading the comments here that you find more annoying than the voice in the synth, then is it not that you don't like the sound of your own voice, because what you read is interpreted as your voice within your own head when you think about it .

As a developer, it's important to accept negative feedback about what you create, because it forces you to consider alternative solutions that people may prefer. If a developer doesn't know that an aspect of a project he's created has problems, then he/she won't recognise, the magnitude of the issue. It's in the developers interest, to know what works for people, regardless of their experience because developers can't always be right.
