I just mean the used prices haven’t come back down since the MN echophon video. They’re not selling well, but they’re still asking around $400.Shabdahbriah wrote: Tue May 16, 2023 3:35 pmAlternatively {while still available}:elxsound wrote: Tue May 16, 2023 3:04 pm

I’m getting more excited each video. I don’t always like the sound, but I do hear possibilities.
I’m also hoping I can feel good about selling Mindphaser, instead of transferring it to one of the other pods.
And nothing but respect for Walker. I could not do one of these shows. In every video he looks happy to demonstrate it. I could survive that for maybe the first 30 minutes? After that… it’s just too much smiling for me and I’d need to escape all the people and questions.

I've been watching the videos as they come out and thinking about this one quite a bit... I don't think I'll be getting a Spectraphon. It looks like an incredible module and I can clearly see why people are excited about it but this just isn't the kind of thing I need in my modular. Of course my feelings a subject to change.

I agree. I wish that it was powered by a gas model engine...with a turbo.justin3am wrote: Tue May 16, 2023 6:39 pm I've been watching the videos as they come out and thinking about this one quite a bit... I sold my Telharmonic when I didn't end up using it in any projects, which is quite rare. We'll see what happens when I get a chance to demo a Spectraphon at PC.

Actually, gas is discouraged and outdated. The future is heatpumps which are driven by electricity. Just like Spectraphon, which also works on electricity.ghettosynth wrote: Tue May 16, 2023 7:57 pmI agree. Well, I'm noisy and outdated, so gas is a great fit.Stefken wrote: Tue May 16, 2023 10:44 pmActually, gas is discouraged and outdated. The future is heatpumps which are driven by electricity. I’m jealous that something like that doesn’t exist here, but if it did it would be cramped and crowded, so not like I’d have a chance to try anything.
Ctrl-mod is supposedly considering opening the shop back up to people by appointment only, which could be interesting… just a bit of a trek into Brooklyn.
