Oh, didn't know she was doing one. Yeah, she's cool.

Honestly I think SBR's video and the Perfect Circuit article were still the best ones for the technical side. But all three videos from today showed some excellent examples, each with their own spin on style. I love Cinematic Labs' sounds in general, but I appreciate how James Cigler's video showed it acting in almost a "normal" complex oscillator way (but a little beyond) :)

8) ... the 'array capture' bit in the PC video (previous page), was appreciated, and interesting. And, indeed, the PC article was excellent.

Lightbath has a Spectraphon video tomorrow too.

Very deep module :)

I like the JC video for the basics, but if you want to go into the nitty gritty I guess you should watch the CL video several times.
I find the sounds somewhat soft in nature sometimes (not much oumph) and i get the same feeling of the 296. I guess that is what the sub and the base frequency saw/sine are there for.

The indication of the selected array is a 4 bit code. Nerds

Thx. I came to the same conclusion. They are very different beasts. I do think the SP is the more advanced and has a broader scope. But instant ambient dust isn t one of them.

That being said. It would be interesting to see what manually layering wet and dry mix(es) would give.

And … preordered.

Also apparently Hainbach will have a video Sunday with his new "Spectral Sound System" case (Wogglebug + Maths + QPAS + Mimeophon + Spectraphon + XOH).

Still eyeing a Wogglebug for one of the pods. Prices on used Tempi and Wogglebug are pretty low right now.
