I would bet that Reason itself handles the graphics for Rack Extensions, the coder has to write the graphics for Reason, and it's not OS specific. The GUI framework being the main thing that needed recompiling for Apple Silicon for Reason to be native means that Rack Extensions running in Apple Silicon automatically are native.

Just a guess, but I'll bet I'm right on that considering the paragraph before the quoted one.

Another aside, I got all excited and checked the Rack Extension library to see if Air Hybrid3, Loom etc. were there, same with NI for Absynth etc. of course those companies did not participate.

got an email from Sonalksis this morning:

I would like to let you know that we have just released new versions of the Sonalksis plugins (v3.22) which improve compatibility of the Audio Unit versions of the plugins with Apple Silicon computers and macOS Ventura. The new versions no longer require Rosetta to be installed.

To install the latest versions, please first download and install the latest version of the Sonalksis Plugin Manager application for macOS from https://www.sonalksis.com/plugrepo/plug ... taller.zip

Once installed, please run the Sonalksis Plugin Manager from your Applications folder and log in with your email address and Sonalksis password. You will then be able to install the updated versions of the plugins.

I can confirm Cory works fine on M1.

Yup. Also Fortin Cali Suite. I can confirm both working natively (only tried VST3 version).

They are still VST2 only.

For me everything is native now. Since Reason also, finally, did it. The only Intel process I have is the Focusrite Control Server, which actually isn't really needed, since their sound cards are class compliant anyway...
