Yeah, so of course it's a medieval/folk library. I just wanted to make a short track that would make that as non-obvious as possible. Drums are a marching drum with a bass side and a snare side, a splash cymbal mounted on top of it, and a crash. Bass is a tenor banjo converted to a 2-string bass guitar. The guitar doing the big strums is a very large banjo, tuned an octave below normal. The guitar doing the small 8th note double-stops is a gittern, a sort of simple fretless lute. The noisy guitar in the middle is two medieval bowed strings making hissy noises and a Hungarian zitehr having a pencil bounced off its melody strings, all crammed into one amp. Final chord pad is hurdy-gurdy with real recorded vibrato. Vocals are vocals, though.

Haha, the Hadzi-Fia doom metal demo of Edvard Grieg "Ases Tod" was basically a recycled Wolfmangler idea. All these years later, though, I still have no clue what a gler is. I know what a wolfman is, but...
