Surprising I am not using it so so much compare to the "creative" ones. I use it sometimes for mastering when I have something specific to do (if I am lazy I am staying with the one in ozone), for mixing, I prefer EQ+ of Bitwig because it has a better control on side chaining (I don't like very much the one of Pro Q3).

Edit: To be more specific. It is more than Bitwig and EQ+ are just awesome. With Bitwig, I can control which band is used for the side chaining. With Pro-Q3, if I am not missing anything, the reference band of the side chaining is the same as the one in which you apply (it is 95% of the time what you want but not always), also with Bitwig you can control the raise, the fall in a much more precise manner (again, AFAIK)...

ProQ3 can also do things that EQ+ can't , like the stereo split, the multi channel, the dynamic EQing is also easier and faster... But yet, at the end, I use more EQ+ for mixing....

ANA 2, it gets compared to Spire and Serum a lot but it's different, it's ease of use workflow goes underappreciated, It doesn't have any cinematic banks (very few banks outside of SA and Slate) like a lot of other synths that have a lot to offer, FX section is very underrated, its arp and cmd are overlooked, and it's analog robustness is overlooked also of course inmho.

I love obsession too. But then I love Spire.
Spire hasn't a very good workflow but the sound is whaou.
I have Serum but discovered it too late... I don't use it very often.

Edit: I far preferred obsession compare to the legend. The Legend is somehow overrated to me... (Except if you look for a Moog lol).

I think uhe's stuff is generally rated pretty highly, like presswerk, but ace has gone under the radar a bit.

and waves gets a lot of stick so I wouldn't say they're overrated, and I think some of their stuff sounds really good

Maybe uad is a bit overrated, very good plugins but a lot of people say its the best out there when there are lots of others that are as good or better

Softube is excellent though imo

Serum overrated... maybe. But I will say it is the only synth I've ever sold and then -- after a couple YEARS -- went back and re-bought. It has a very unique sound signature that I thought I was over and then missed again and again until I caved.

Yep serum fan boys say it's so powerful it can make any sound possible, which is not true at all.

I do like the colour and grit it has, but it's not something I want all over a mix. Also serum wavetables always work well in other wavetable synths so useful for that
