Venn Audio V-Clip? If so that one is C/R (machine ID) DRM (offline C/R request is possible).

StandardCLIP do have a waveform view at the center bottom does it not?

Anyone use the soft clipper built into Izotope Ozone?

There are tons of great clippers, and they are typically cheap, each with their own qualities. Why limit yourself to one. I have a ton of them, all of them great. Sir Audio, Kazrog, Boz, Plugins That Knock, Venn, Nembrini, New Fangled Audio, Venomode, TDR, Unfiltered Audio... I F*king love clippers :tu:

thx, well i just wanna clip and push some more dbs for more energetic tracks. for saturation, distortion etc. i use different plugins :).

Sounds to me like you might need a limiter rather than a clipper.
* I f*king love limiters too btw. :tu:

There are so many good clippers, lot of them mentioned here, choose the one you get along with best (imo), don’t’ overthink it (unless you master itb ;)
When it comes to hardclipping it should always be the same (minus oversampling algorithms differences), but the real magic happens when some soft clipping or other "magic" is introduced hence Saturate, Voxengo OVC, Limiter6 or Flatliner etc.
Airwindows has many great clippers but there's no antialising at all and more importantly unfortunately there's no metering at all (you must utilize additional oscilloscope plugin).
To add some ideas to this thread:
if you are adventurous and like to have a lot of possibilities: check out LVC Clipped Max - excellence if you know what you want.
Another shot worth a try is Apulsoft Apshaper - not a clipper per se but excellent nevertheless.

It sounds really nice but i have no idea how it operates. The tooltip indicates the differences between “L”, “M”, and “H” which is just how far the clipping extends/starts below the maximizer threshold, but if it’s just a predetermined db level then I don’t really understand what pushing the percentage knob up does… would only ever use it on the mix bus because of this

There are many great Clippers but for me my all time fav ist Standard Clip.

Standard Clip, obviously!

It's not called standard for nothing.

Toneboosters Barricade for clipping and limiting. Really all I need / use these days for both duties.
