Fabfilter-L Specific True Peak question

hi guys,

very stupid question, i used IKM Brickwall Limiter in the past and had the OUTPUT CEILING at -0.1



is this the True Peak Value?



how much do you set it for mastering?

It looks like IKM doesn't have TP, or maybe it's TP only, i just don't see an option to change.

That is the Pro L2 output gain. So in a sense it can act as setting your true peak yes. But even with True Peak enabled Pro L2 can go over. So you should test with your settings how far over. In general with no oversampling Pro L2 only goes like 0.1 over in True Peak.

If you want to stay at 0db without any true peak overs you should generally set the Pro L2 output to -0.1, or use oversampling of like 16x or higher. Or don't worry about it because it really doesn't matter that much.

thanks a lot! ahh ok, i think i got it. i enable Oversampling before export x8. i think i will set TP to -0.1 precautiously.
