I like the burst, clock mode and ring modulation which when following the MN videos sounds different than other ring mod… I think in one of the videos Walker mentioned that part was digital, but the above videos mentions it being analog, unless that’s just the S&H… I honestly don’t know, but I swear walker mentioned it. I’ll have to find the video.

It’s digital, in that it’s binary. Based on CMOS xor logic, not a micro. So the output is always going to be high or low (like a pulse wave) but it sounds similar to ring mod. The MS-20’s ring mod is based on xor logic, if I remember correctly.

As is the ARP Odyssey's ring mod. It's one of the cost saving differences between the Odyssey and the 2600.

Yes, enriching to see these different approaches. Nice to see e.g.the usage of nature sounds.
Not too shabby to setup on your own, but as i mentioned a wet/dry would have been nice.

I think it would be a nice experiment to layer the original sound with 2 copies where you can frequency shift them and also create a ratio between the odd and even harmonics. Then mess around with that.

Tip : you might look into the Iris2 vst. I think you could download this for free. It can give additional insight and also has some nice samples, including environmental sounds and nature sounds. This is off the top of my head.

I have to say that this might be better than the tape and microsound system. I like Hainbach, he's definitely talented. I would like to have heard what's going in vs what's coming out.

FTR: I'm not a fan of the wogglebug. I'm willing to give it more time though, we'll see.

I’m assuming you’re talking about the troll and not me (but you never know)… it is a shame. Never saw that before. I’m wondering who they’re trying to troll, Makenoise or PanicGirl or just bored? Oh well.
