Working on this guitar part for hours.
Sounds fine while playing, but is oddly off time when listening back.
I think the inserted plugins are not reporting latency to the host correctly.
UPDATE:
Finally got it, had to move the entire track a half a beat forward.
Plugin mathematics gone wild......

I like rendering wet fx to audio asap looking at the audio wave to see where the peaks (hits or plucks) actually happen, can’t trust plugins to report shit properly half the time plus some fx plugins don’t implement high speed render properly so actually need to record them to an audio track in real time to avoid artefacts.

That could be some movie stuff, vurt. Crazy textures there!
Not today but yesterday, finished mixing some vocals for another song on a reggae riddim project.

I was messing with SynprezFM on my phone, found a pad sound I liked, and recorded it to the DAW. That meant I had to take the case off to make room for my stereo-to-dual-mono splitter cable... which led to the discovery that the back of the phone had popped off because the battery was swelling into a "spicy pillow"
(I grabbed the recording, shut off the phone, made a track, and then got the battery replaced.)
If I hadn't done that, I wonder if the battery would have forced the protective case off, or caught fire first...

Jesus, did you use your phone to arrange for dodgy election votes?

The repair guy did not look even a little surprised to see a 4 year old Samsung with a battery that had gone a bit non-Euclidean.
When I do have to replace the whole thing I might get a Google Pixel.

I still use a OnePlus 3T I bought about six years back, does everything I need it for though admittedly I don’t exactly push the envelope, it’s mainly just for audio streaming and texts.

Got an interesting tune down, I like it but its short (around 2:20).
Trying to decide whether to make an edit, increase the length or have it evolve into another tune or segment.
Decisions, decisions.....

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Was measuring up for the On-stage three-tier stand. Because I love the idea of having a bunch of synths right at my fingertips.
There is always a catch though, they don't have extra support arms in stock...and NA on estimated arrival time.
I want to get modules like Dredbox Erebus or Behringer CAT and have them next to the controller and moving up is the obvious solution.

Not sure how I did this, but I plugged the Happy Nerding 4 Stereo Mix in backwards and it worked as a passive mix, which just confused me (long day too).
Got it corrected, but then it would get quieter over time before losing power. I have no idea here, but after taking it out (again) and plugging it back in, the module works.
I hope it stays this way.
Not exactly what I was hoping to do today, but it happens.
I did get to try the more obvious applets on Ornaments & Crime, using the AD EG & Boots n’ cats.
Triggered by Hector (Grids) through Wasp (accents to envelope then to Wasp CV2) and through Data Bender for some fun sounds.
Nothing worth recording but I’m happy to see it works.
