I took a similar approach with my setup, but settled with the K&M 18860 Spider Pro. I have the controller allocated on the lower tier and the synthesizer allocated on the upper tier, which a microphone boom arm attached at the top. You may be interested in their other keyboard stands, which also have "stackers" up to three tiers.Constructed Identity wrote: Tue May 23, 2023 1:57 am Was measuring up for the On-stage three-tier stand. Because I love the idea of having a bunch of synths right at my fingertips.
There is always a catch though, they don't have extra support arms in stock...and NA on estimated arrival time.
I want to get modules like Dredbox Erebus or Behringer CAT and have them next to the controller and moving up is the obvious solution.

I just spent about an hour trying to work out why the audio from my Hydrasynth seemed to be broken, had chosen one of the stock bi-timbral patches - a bass and some strings - and the upper voice was coming out so much louder than the lower one even though both the meters on the ADA8200 hardware and the RME software mixer had both sounds at the same level.
Eventually twigged it was goddamned phase cancellation, they'd set up a frigging multitimbral patch with a very mono bass voice so it got almost cancelled out by phase when you used it. Gah! Oh well at least my shit isn't broken.

Scouse accents give me the fear. I worked in a call centre as a student job for a couple of months, back in the day when people had pagers and I’d answer a call, someone would say the message and I’d type it and send it to a number they’d given. Because it was a uk wide call centre one minute would be a geordie accent on the phone, then a brummie, then a glaswegian, but by far the worst for me to get was a scouser because their local phone company that summer was running a deal where any calls made under a minute long were free so consequently a scouser would get connected, splurt out some long message at 500 words a minute then slam the phone down to stay under the minute. They were a nightmare. Half the time I just made up a nonsense message that amused and sent it as I’d given up understanding a f**king word of it.
If you want a fun voice to play with though, try some poetry/spoken songs by Ivor Cutler.

Yeah, my mum’s dad was Welsh from the Rhondda and the usual x generations of miners and my Dad lived near Aberystwyth for a few years so I’m not a stranger to the land of the leek. I just wish the Welsh side of my family talked about anything other than bloody rugby.
