slaintesonoma wire works wrote:Sonoma Wire Works, developers of cutting-edge user interface design and software for the next generation of music products, have offered to give a free copy of Sonoma 7 VST effects plug-in to the winner of the December/January contest as well as the the contest that ends in February. Sonoma 7 VST is a comprehensive set of seven great sounding, fully optimized effects like auto-wah, multiband compression, modulation, delay, reverb, and parametric EQ. By combining all seven effects into one plug-in, musicians get convenient access to multi-effect presets, and the ability to instantiate more effects without using up extra insert or send locations. Each effect can be enabled or disabled separately, and by using a single window, screen clutter is minimized.
Free demo available here: http://sonomawireworks.com/effects.php

Back to back posts in the same thread... man, I'm lame.
Just checked out that Sonoma Wireworks page. How come I've never heard of these guys before? Their stuff looks the business! Thanks also to Darrell again, and Ian from Krakli! Awesome prizes.
Thanks to the idea man... who was it again... clueless? and to pHz for making it a LONGER entry for a change!

Donks, great stuff. That song is killer.

Looking like a great thing.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Neato!
The developers who offer prizes here are the coolest! I've become a huge fan of EAS, NUsofting, Sinus and Klanglabs after my introduction to them here. I especially appreciate the ones who bother to make Mac versions.

Awesome prizes this month!
I downloaded the Sonoma demo to check it out, but it isn't working in Tracktion. I can put it on a track, but I can't view the GUI or make any parameter changes. Did anyone else have a similar experience?

there seems to be a general hang-up about the word 'soul' in this competition.
Essentially, the whole point of this is dead simple.
Do whatever gives you the biggest [teenage?] kick.
Can't really ask for more than that!
