Unable to scan Speedrum Lite in Bitwig Studio

I'm pretty newbie to Bitwig and only just discovered Speedrum Lite.

I'm trying to scan the Speedrum Lite plugin into Bitwig Studio.

Bitwig 4.4.10
Arch Linux 6.3.4

I used yaybridgectl to scan the directory.

I got a popup saying something about how it was taking a long time to scan. It didn't seem to be making any progress, just spinning. The only way I could do anything at all was to click "Skip Plugin".

Now I can't even get to that message. Perhaps it has been blocked??

Anybody managed to get this combination of things working or any suggestions as to what I've done wrong?

At this point I'm just trying to get almost any drum machine plugin I can use with my Nektar Impact LX Mini.
