But can a Kontakt Multiscript be used outside of Kontakt?
Yes, it can for most DAWs. (Logic cannot, sadly.)

Nifty. Any chance of some other performance based multi scripts? I'd love a cc and pitch bend randomizer that's scalable via a second cc in realtime. It would allow for many different instruments starting in tune and slowly being spread out into a cluster.

Thanks for the clusters idea. I think it could work if you were willing to separate each instrument into different midi channels (to apply different pitch wheel values). I did actually experiment a little with midi fx pitch-shifting, but one issue I ran into is that a lot of the sample libraries I tested on were programmed by the developers to disallow pitch-bending, unfortunately.
