That, is what I'm most curious about. Personally I've never gelled with Lives built in guitar solutions, and I wonder how it sounds plugged directly in?

Wow , I counted about 18 Sound Packs that come with PUSH3 https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/# I'm very impressed with Ableton . Wow . Linux ? Wow . Look Valve Steam has done so much for gaming on Linux with Steam and SteamDeck and Proton/Wine stuff . Alls it takes is a BigWig to start making Linux there thing .Valve pretty made there own Distro/OS for the SteamDeck it's pretty much a very stripped down version of Linux/Arch ... I'd love to see Ableton do this .

Well, I think with M4L (Max has a massive user base and constant development via its won team) and the PUSH API which gives access to all of the hardware and the screen etc the Standalone is going to be one of the most developed/customisable bits of hardware made.
X32, i9 PC + S49, S1, BWS, Live+PUSH 3 Standalone, FL Studio, Reason, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, P8, Syntakt, Digitakt, Poly Tracker, Eurorack, TD27 V Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course pedals!

I made a simple song mode for Push - you can create different parts and assign scenes to parts, then set independent lengths and repeats. Play back the parts in order for a full song then export to arrangement view for final editing. http://pushsongmode.com

Found the solution, just re-authorize Live and Expressive Choir will show up. The pack is amazing.Goony wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 7:33 am I already have those except the Expressive choir one, website says free with Push 3 but doesnt show up for me in my account yet, and the Push 3 controller doesnt authorize like the standalone (in fact there is no registration at all), I have posed the question to Ableton support and await their answer next week.

Midi capture has a nice dedicated button above record, I’m using it all the time as you often stumble on stuff jamming with MPE. Absolutely loving PUSH stand-alone so far, it’s great in a dark room (lights up very clearly) or full sun (had a couple of hours in the garden yesterday just to test the battery, 2 hours 15 got me to 7% so pretty much as advertised.

I already posted that solution on the various FB group & Elektronauts threads. You pretty much copied and pasted my post.nanostream wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 1:18 pmFound the solution, just re-authorize Live and Expressive Choir will show up. I rarely used it within Ableton, but use it quite a lot with Push 3.

I didn’t care for it for a very long time, but doing the Jamuaries I completely relied on it and it changed my approach to recording, which is much more loose and fluid now.Goony wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 2:33 amYes its great to finally have a dedicated button for itliquidsound wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 10:38 pm Excellent video.

Haha, that’s possible, if not likely. Didn’t know it was you. Thanks for that!

And yeah, I’ve also switched to using the capture feature as my main recording method a while ago. It’s great having a dedicated button for that.
