I may get some inherited hardware items through my family. Some of those I "might" be able to get are an Ensoniq Mirage, JV-880, TX81Z, and a Quadraverb. There's also an Amiga 500 which I'd like to have, as I am a big Amiga fan (hence my KVR name) and wish I hadn't sold my A2000.
Would it be worthwhile to pay for the shipping to get those shipped across the country (USA, from Washington state to CT), or should I just stick with plugins? Even though I have many plugins for FM synthesis and others (such as the XV-5080 plugin) I'd still like to at least check out the TX81Z and JV-880.
May receive some cool music hardware

I say yes, go for it. The shipping shouldn’t be too bad if you go with UPS Ground or something similar that is slow, but cheap.

My only issue is my two MIDI keyboards don't have the standard MIDI in/out, just the newer type for USB. The JV-880 is older of course, so I will just use my Moog to connect to it.
Now I'm looking into buying a new MIDI keyboard/controller.
