well plasmonic i use quite often; this is a track with 2 plasmonic instances, presets from scratch, MPE, and rythmic loop made via via, but mainly Dawesome LOVE recreates (Dawesome LOVE? yes it will come! the love!); it is a finished track, of course, so including vocals, but still you can hear what Plasmonic can give, in a more experimental or Sound Brut/Primordial way;

I was initially put off Plasmonic because of its UI and "I have too many synths already", but I've been giving the demo a whirl and it's a really great synth, sounds like nothing else in my collection! I still think the UI is on the ugly side but the UX/workflow is pretty good; it's mostly a one page synth, which I like and the modulation system is fun to use and reasonably efficient. I can't afford it right now, but it will be a serious contender for BF sale season for sure.
Always Read the Manual!

O.k. after some quite time i am happy to have some more time again ton play with the wonderful Plasmonic synth and still experimenting with creating presets. So a little improved space ambient thing with Plasmonic only (also all the FX).

How does this fare with more traditional synth pads instead of plucky, bottle blow sounds?

There is a lot more to Plasmonic than « plucky and bottle blows ». Plasmonic can make nice substractive sounds, but if you want to do mainly that kind of sounds, may be pure substractive synths would please you more I guess…

I tried the demo very interesting but I most surf presets.
The sideband filter on Roland System 8 reminds me of the Plasmonic sound very much. It is the same kind of thing?
