So I'm making dinner last night and this is on a loop in my head, but I haven't heard it anywhere recently, so that makes me wonder

Apparently Kylie wasn't joking when she sang "I'll be in your head all weekend"
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

Wikipedia is your friend.
'The Exciters were an American pop music group of the 1960s. They were originally a girl group, with one male member being added afterwards. At the height of their popularity the group consisted of lead singer Brenda Reid, Herb Rooney, Carolyn Johnson and Lillian Walker.'
TBH I've known this song forever but didn't know who did it.

yeah, both my older sisters played the hell out of this so I absorbed it. Actually, pretty much that whole era of stuff like this I still love because of those days.

Metric, "Black Sheep"
Deadmau5, "Snowcone"
Wilco, "California Stars". I was surprised to find out that Bob Seger does a cover of this. My wife thinks it sounds like a Bruce Springsteen song.
