And what's in front of the KMFDM keyboard? Looks like a rack stand, but I can't make out a rack in it?

They were a couple of custom-built, really heavy steel stands that actually fit into a stripped-out guitar case. Sascha had drum-triggers set into the cross-beams with some rubber padding wrapped around them and his Indigo on one of our keyboard stands in front of it. Lucia had a rave-o-lution 909 on hers which she touched once during the whole set. Whatever happenned to Quasi-MIDI or whatever they were called?

I was eying those things off all over Asia last year but I just couldn't justify the $400 price tag. So when I found them in Seoul for just $350 or so, and knowing it was my last trip for discreet, I just had to have them. There is just no way I could wear them other than on stage - they are a little ridiculous, to say the least.

Russell, those stands looked every bit of 13 or 14 years old.
