Yeah. It’s been updated more or less regularly and the most recent update is a real banger.gentleclockdivider wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 6:24 am Microtonic 2 was released 18 years ago , we're at 3.3.4 now![]()

I found it interesting how, in the Synplant 2 video demo of "Genopatch", they featured several rather 'percussive-sounding' instruments. I think it's probably more than likely that some variant of this "Genopatch" will also find its way into the next major update of Microtonic.

^^^ Same. The beta is definitely "next level"

Wait! Do you have access to the beta?

How does one go about that?
We need a least a rough estimate on when we will be able to buy Synplant 2 ... "2023" is too vague!

Yes. I also beta'd the original. Actually, been beta testing for them for (like) 16+ years, and been really really fortunate to get to beta some of the more innovative/cutting-edge and/or what some would consider niche' esoteric synths and effects for over 25+ years. For those who liked or loved Synplant, version 2 will not disappoint.
For those who never tried it, or did not get on with the original for what ever reason, but enjoy sound design and/or the serendipitous nature of sound exploration, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend giving Synplant 2 a test drive when it becomes available. In those two categorizes alone, it is inspiring and fun, in that "smile level" cool, kinda way.

Synplant 2 is currently a closed beta, but you can apply for future releases here:

Hmmm... {cue: unsubstantiated rough estimate} p.o.s.s.i.b.l.y by the tail-end of summer... but most definitely p.o.s.s.i.b.l.y, by Christmas.

It looks and sounds beautiful. I can't wait. Please don't make us wait too much longer before we can get our hands on this work of art.

Most likely - depends on the plugin pricing.
