Connect the Push 2 to power.Alban18 wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 5:36 am So now I replace the new DrivenByMoss.bwextension with my old DrivenByMoss.bwextension file and now it acts like before. Bitwig automatically detects my Push and the controls work well. It's just the lighting that I'm trying to fix. So I'm guessing the 4.3+ script doesn't detect or work at all.
By the way I'm using Bitwig 4.4.9 to test everything.

Thanks for the response, glad to have been able to discover something useful. By the way, some people are seeing their estimated delivery dates improve later on, after ordering, so its also possible the wait wont be as long as it currently looks.moss wrote: Sun Jun 11, 2023 8:04 am Thanks, that's helpful! As I already wrote, I need the real device for testing first.
Meanwhile I figured out some of the sysex for putting the pads into MPE mode and adjusting other MPE settings, but I wont post it right now in case it gets lost in this thread by the time you get yours. So please do let us know here when you get a Push 3 for testing, so I can share whatever Push 3 technical knowledge I have by then. Thanks!

Maybe you can add your findings there.

Thanks. Looks promising. I'm waiting for the official release. Is it possible in Bitwig 5 to assign a fader mode per connected device ? Eg. LaunchControl in Catch mode, Launchpad in Immediate mode.moss wrote: Sun Jun 11, 2023 8:26 amYou can now configure the clips with the new ALT option to be stopped. With the Launchpad you can press the pad in combination with SHIFT to execute the ALT action.mevla wrote: Thu Jun 08, 2023 4:29 pm However I do think that's not the easiest way to start/stop clips. The easiest way would be by pressing again a button that's running a clip.
Press a button once, the clip starts and the button blinks.
Press the same button again, the clip stops.
And it would free up a column so that more clips could be shown without scrolling.

Thanks. For the moment I'm no paying that much attention to Bitwig 5 as I'm waiting for the official release, but that looks promising.questionaire wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 9:39 pm Did you have a look into the new project clip launcher settings? Extremely powerfull with the launchpad see the tutorial from Thavius Beck. That is with the native launchpad driver from Bitwig i'm not sure if the clip launcher settings works aswell with the Drivenbymoss script.

I pre-ordered my Push 3 a couple of weeks ago with expected ETA of 8 weeks but I received payment instructions yesterday and it is already on its way to me with delivery on Thursday. So hopefully you will get yours soon as well to develop support for Bitwig.I will get a Push 3 but delivery time is up to 3-4 months. So, this will take a while. Until then, still lots of work to do to fully support Bitwig 5.

Hi Jürgen,
i asked Bitwigs Support please helping you with further Features for the OSC Script, like the /clip_playback_progress.
The answer was that they'd be surprised if when you have a problem, you wouldn't tell them about it. Sounds like if you ask them for it, it has more chances of being accessable, than me asking for it
PS: i mentioned your awesome scripts in my first bitwig-video @ minute 2:48
And then again at minute 29:42
But i don't expect you to watch it, of course - just as info, link in signature

Hello. Some questions about trying to find a way to manage custom assignments.
I've assigned some LaunchControl faders in a user page for the MChorusMB plugin while working on a session. I'd like to use the same plugin now on another track. Is there a way to copy the assignments over ?
I understand that user assignments can be saved inside a template. When in a template and after doing the assignments, is it possible to remove the plugin and save the template as such while keeping the assignments, ready for any eventual use with the same plugin ?
When working on a session started without any template, is it possible to load a template with assignments in another tab then copy the track with the wanted plugin to the session in progress to transfer at the same time the assignments ?
And, if I were to extend your script, would it be possible to program user assignments as part of the defaults in a renamed script ? If so, there could be several augmented Moss scripts and then the matter would be to disable the current script in use for the LaunchControl and enable another script augmented with user assignments only when needed. Would that be possible ?
Thanks !

User parameters will be replaced with Project/Track parameters soon. While you cannot the pages of them, you can duplicate a track which then will have the same mappings.mevla wrote: Thu Jun 15, 2023 3:28 pm Hello. Some questions about trying to find a way to manage custom assignments.

That seems pretty good.moss wrote: Thu Jun 15, 2023 3:42 pm User parameters will be replaced with Project/Track parameters soon. While you cannot the pages of them, you can duplicate a track which then will have the same mappings.
One thing though : in your reply the verb is missing in : "While you cannot the pages of them" ... save ?

All right. I'm curious about something : is it possible to read custom user assignments from the device (or from Bitwig), and render them in a meaningful text format ?
