Hi there,
on the track "Doppel" off the It Follows OST, there is this sound that plays from 0:50 to 1:50 and I'm desperate to understand how he made this. It sounds like he's playing a short sound, which then runs through some sort of feedback loop he controls somehow? I know Disasterpeace has said all of the sounds in the It Follows OST (besides the percussion) are made with Massive. Is there some sort of Routing maybe within Massive that might lead to such a controllable feedback loop? Or any other ideas (possibly plugins that do similar things)?

Massive and massive x both have a feedback buss that can be processed and lead to nifty sounds. Go into the routing panel and try just putting a keyboard tracking delay and a filter in the feedback path. Keep your levels really low as feedback can get out of control very very quickly.
