Noice. Gonna try this after work. Thanx.

This looks promising. The highest tier is however surprisingly expensive. 16$/mo?

(That's in one year almost the perpetual commercial license price for Reaper - a DAW where there is access to nightly builds for everyone ( i.e. even those without any license at all).)

Post

Yeah, I think the $32 is the best one. You get updates until the release of version 2. Seems pretty cheap to me...

Post

Yes, but they already changed the "Nightly" to 46$/year in the meantime, which seems really reasonable to me as well, I must say.

Post

It is free software, they use the same principle like Ardour. You pay for binaries/installers.

Just found out about Zrythm yesterday. Looks like it has the potential to compete with Ableton and Bitwig.

Post

Is it Linux only?

I just tried it. I like how you can record and automate things, but I hate how it doesn't recognize my Roland UM-ONE as a MIDI device. The performance seems a bit worse compared to other DAWs I tried on Windows, and unfortunately, there is no MPE automation yet. Drawing notes is also a bit annoying compared to Bitwig and Ableton.

Post

Cool stuff.

Post

is OSX version stable ?

edit : dont even start on osx 10.14... ->PASS

Yes i think so too if it gets cliplauch or something like that. :) I like cliplaunch.

Post

Not Linux-only. Colorful for sure. A bit busy visually. I'll download and see how customizable it is.
