The right price is the one that makes both seller and buyer feel they are not being ripped off.

Ask Google what it thinks of the DM100, and it says:
In the world of Casio, there are a few holy grails - and this is among the holiest.
So me thinks €100 or €200 would be more appropriate.

Here it says that "They very rarely come up for auction and tend to go for crazy prices".

The sampling part of this keyboard even though primitive is fun. I own a SK-1, a SK-2 and a SK-8 that are similar but have 1 keyboard only.

Hi Zvon.

Yeah, i read that also, but i have no references at ebay etc. So im not sure what crazy prices means? 100 - 20euros, i mean, that is kinda crazy, right? :)

And yes, i already had some fun with the sample part:)

Thanks for the input Zvon!

I see this thread is from 2018, irs currently June 2023... I have no idea what, if any, impact a synthfluencer like Simon the Magpie might have on a unit like this... but injust heard of this piece today and I cant find any being offered for less than $400....

However, I hope you didn't end up selling it, because as mentioned, I think the magic of this particular casio unit lays in The fact that it's one of the true casio "holy whales/white grails"... or something lol... listening to Magpie futz around with it right now and I'm instantly falling in love. I have a couple SK-1s an SK-5, an RZ-1 Drum machine/sampler from casio... as my "grails" remain either a CZ-101 or 1000 and sk-8 and 200. I have a lot of samplers and casio sampling units are unquestionably the BEST. From usability to creative limitations and just their captivating sense of NOT being gear, yet being TRUE gear... I don't think I'll ever catch a better vibe than chilling with an SK-1 until the Yahtzee moment, when you bring in the reat of your gear.

So, I hope you kept it. If you did... are you interested in selling? ; )

Yea, I saw the video too and frankly I wasn't impressed. I think I would rather have the CZ-1 for it's phase distortion synthesis.
Also, it depends on where you are selling it. If selling on Reverb.com add 200 $/£ to what you think the most it is worth. ;)
