Send audio from PC to Mac with Dante Via

Hey,
I‘m a not really experienced with audio interfaces and protocols so maybe someone can help me out with finding a good solution for my setup.

I want to build a small studio mainly for live music with various analog and digital instruments. I‘d like to keep my PC for my Maschine Mk3 (which also is a two channel audio interface) and plug in one or two guitars with Guitar Rig because I want to use a touch screen for that.

I‘m also planning to buy a Mac as my main computer with my RME Fireface UC where I‘d like to have all my instruments end up on their own track.

I found Dante Via and the information that it supports 16 channels. Could I then still use my Maschine inputs but send up to 16 channels digitally to my Mac? Can I use these as additional inputs there together with my RME?
