Melda Production has a distortion plug-in. I have their MDistortionMB with a multiband option, which I've just gotten 2 days ago. I've only scratched the surface in all the settings, however I setup a macro type preset from the easy page, and I like what I'm getting already.

Rift + Coldfire + Steinberg Quadrafuzz check all the boxes over here.
Although Waves SSL Ev2 channel can get some nice dirt when you crank up the input gain..

Im sure I read the rumor that Trash was built from Quadrafuzz but I can't back it up. The Psy creators used to love Quadrafuzzmothra wrote: Mon Mar 06, 2023 6:17 pm Rift + Coldfire + Steinberg Quadrafuzz check all the boxes over here.

Rift is great but not heard of Coldfire. Black Box or Phils Cascade from Plugin Alliance are good but not multiband.

Coldfire was my last toy and I guess the best too. I don't know if I can apply distortion to only a specific frequency or not (though FL Studio has a frequency splitter anyway).
Honourable mention is Unfiltered Audio Dent 2 and Indent 2. Quite unique sound.
Edit: Coldfire does have a multiband split.

Pyros is another recent release with a good assortment of heavy distortion options.
For extreme distortion effects these days I usually turn to hardware (guitar pedals and modular gear) which, among other pros/cons, has zero aliasing
