hi guys, so for low end i use a sidechain within FL Studio if i want my Kick dominating the bass for example and low pads etc. but with upper frequencies and instruments which play at the same time and have frequency clashing i wanted to check when and where it happens so i found this COLLISION feature.

1. how do you use it? e.g. do you use automation when 1 or more instruments are colliding?

2. i got here about 10 Pro Q3 instances but in this list you see Pro Q (1) - (10), how do i know which is which :D. this is not really identifiable?

It’s info. Make some cuts and see if it sounds better.

Regarding your second question: if you rename your tracks and use the vst3 version of Pro-Q3 those track names will be displayed instead of "Track 1" etc within Pro-Q3. At least in Ableton it's like that if I remember correctly.

Also good trick is to play the part where you feel the problem is, then go to first channel, mute it. Listen to what happened to the track, was the mud/harsh/... from this channel or not? Did it help, did it participate in problem or?

Now if this channel was good, unmute it and move to next channel, repeat.

This way you can hear them too quite easily :) Visual tools help but hearing is better!

thx so much! great tip! i love having at some section played many instruments but yeah then they clash each other with specific ranges :D need then to decide which instrument should dominate.
