YEARS.

Guess Adam Szabo will come out earlier with his JP-8K emu than Roland.

Hahah! Exactly. We'll also likely see a JX-8P by Air Music Tech on the Akai MPC/Force before Roland makes an ACB. And honestly... I'd be OK with that, if Air Jura is anything to go by.chk071 wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:16 pm ... and the JP-8000...

Hey XpanderDude! The JUPITER-4, JUPITER-8 and JUNO-106 have recently been updated to v2. There are some cool changes to the UI, expanded compatibility, and new sound features including a circuit mod and accompanying condition knob. These two new sound features add a unique vintage like modulation to your patches.XpanderDude wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:03 pm JP4 and JP8 (maybe others?) got updated to 2.0.1

Here is a great video by Starsky Carr that demonstrates all the new features! Enjoy.
Hey zvenx! my title is Social Support Engineer. This combines assisting people with technical issues, managing social accounts and in general just being there to address questions from members of the Roland Cloud community. Thanks for the shout out and feel free the DM me anytime!zvenx wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:39 pm Not sure where I got the idea from, but I seem to think Jon is an engineer or at least in technical support more than in marketing.

Hello EnochLight, related to what I wrote above. The last thing we want is to make promises we don't keep. We love our legendary synths and take great care in their design and execution. User feedback and participation is extremely useful to us! And I will continue taking down your feature and instrument requests.EnochLight wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:45 pm Well - regardless of their actual positions within the company - it seems they all have a great canned response to long-standing requests, so that's an A+ for consistency.![]()
Though we cannot disclose information about up coming releases until the launch date, just know we take your feedback very seriously and it does not go unnoticed. We have some fun releases planned for this year that we are excited to share with everyone!
Hi N 4 LIFE, unfortunately Concerto aged out last year and had to be discontinued. Feel free to DM me with any questions you may have and I'll try to assist however I can.N 4 LIFE wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 3:20 am Opened Logic Pro today and all Concerto Instruments are gone. This sucks.

I hear you, and just know that my constant ribbing is meant to be good natured. Many of us (not only I) have been asking for an ACB of the JX-8P that we can load onto our System-8's for so long, it's just become somewhat of a running joke. I do look forward to whatever you all have planned for this year, and hopefully it will make me want to sub once again.Jon at Roland wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 7:43 pm Hello EnochLight, related to what I wrote above. I can confirm that the VST3 for those three plugins, on a silicon mac are now running perfectly, without any CPU overloads or crackling. Just tested it in Komplete Kontrol. Great work Roland. I'm looking forward to you doing the same thing for all of the audio units - the ones that are simply unusable like System-1 and all the romplers (JV, XV etc), along with the rest of the VST3.JamminFool wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 7:47 pm no, we mean the juno-106, jupiter-4 and jupiter-8 were updated today. do you know what is in those updates?

Gotcha! My apologies. The update improved v2's VST3/AAX performance on Apple silicon for the JUNO-106, JUPITER-8 and JUPITER-4.JamminFool wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 7:47 pm no, we mean the juno-106, jupiter-4 and jupiter-8 were updated today. do you know what is in those updates?
I completely understand! And thank you so much for the continued support. As a huge fan of the JX-8P, I would love to see it get its day on the cloud as well.EnochLight wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 8:58 pm I hear you, and just know that my constant ribbing is meant to be good natured. Jon, I think that's a great idea but maybe in future you might want to think about your UK / European customers in setting the time of any future events?Jon at Roland wrote: Wed Jun 21, 2023 8:19 pm At 4pm PST on Tuesday, July 18th we will be hosting a Roland Cloud Roundtable to introduce our Engineering and Development teams to the community.
