A week later...
I've run the tele through all it's paces and gone through ever preset on the pod go wireless.
Pod Go is almost nothing like previous pods and more like Helix all around.
I like most of the presets on Pod Go.
I hate digging through line6 custom tone to find more custom tones and yet I'm too lazy to recreate the tones I want myself.
With all that said. It's past time for another strat type guitar in my life. Yes HSS no not a super shredder with a Floyd Rose.
I'm thinking Sire S7 FM

^^ I've seen those before, looks pretty interesting. No experience with it myself tho. Remember
to keep a close eye on it. IME stuff like that only comes in small batches that sell out quickly.
Good luck.

I've been following them for a while. They do batches and do not last long.
The pedal looks like a lot of fun; stumbled across it while looking for alternatives to make those glitchy-stutter sounds I used to do with an old DD-3

Nice, i have a hologram microcosm, its pretty good for that imo. Another thing i have and can recommend for that is the Zoia from Empress. Great pedals, not cheap unfortunately.jxnx wrote: Wed Jun 28, 2023 8:20 pmYup, Thanks!pekbro wrote: Thu Jun 22, 2023 5:18 am ^^ I've seen those before, looks pretty interesting. both have been on my radar a while ago as well lol! I'm constantly trying to convince myself I don't need'em... The Zoia is a beast, it offers a lot more though.pekbro wrote: Wed Jun 28, 2023 9:00 pm Nice, i have a hologram microcosm, its pretty good for that imo. Diamond fret files, 2mm and 2.5mm. Currently struggling crowning a refret using stainless frets.
I do my own refrets, I paid £90 for one in the 1990s, it wasn't very good. Buy the tools and learn.
It would cost £200+ at a shop, I can't justify that, when most of my guitars are sub £150, new and second-hand.
Curious. Is it hip to be square?

Tempted to get one of those Harly Bentons for $200, stainless frets, locking tuners, roasted maple. Sheesh...
Shipping still puts it near $300 for me. Still...
*Anniversary sale -25 % at Thomann.

Some have locking staggered tuners, decent trems and tusk nuts. Some have poor ratings due to QC, might be worth observing.pekbro wrote: Tue Jul 11, 2023 9:37 pm Tempted to get one of those Harly Bentons for $200, stainless frets, locking tuners, roasted maple. Sheesh...
