macOS. Definitely a beta. Pretty much like the look, but it's got a long way to go interface-wise. Found zero customization options, though I only played with it for a very short while.

A bit garish, but I could probably live with the GUI. Looks like some neat tricks at first glance, and I def prefer the way automation is implemented over Cubase (still very flakey in some instances, especially things like writing in on/off switches eg for FX sends). But when I looked at the included plugins - oh dear me. Like something out of the 90s or earlier. Would have to be 3rd party plugins for me. They might sound great but I won't use shitty parameter-list GUIs for anything, just unacceptable. And I deliberately haven't gone wild buying plugins since returning to music, so to use this DAW would mean hefty expense buying all conceivable effects I'd need from the ground up. I expect a DAW to have a decent set of usable FX included. Unlikely just because of the horrible plugins, but I might try out the DAW. Needs to be usable properly - I'm not buying a DAW for what it "might be" in the future.

One thing it didn't do was re-size for the initial window. It was fine when I enlarged it. Personally, I'd rather the program itself was developed rather than plug-ins. There are plenty of free ones and I have plenty of my own. I absolutely appreciate the dev's efforts though. It's always nice to see someone else's take on the genre.

How stable is it in 2026 on macOS?
