So it only cost me $50, but … does anyone else have issues with this synth on an M1 Mac?

It’s been, after a short time, every time so far, slowing down - and slowing down everything else, including the DAW, and in the end just no responding, or taking forever to anyway.

Not usable, suffice it to say. :/

What DAW are you referring to?
Running it natively (AS) on Logic, Cubase 12 Pro and Live Suite 11 without any slowdowns or other issues

Ah... thanks. I was confused because it showed me a price of 99 €, even though I was logged in.
It's 99e to buy another license, so you can use two instances in your DAW

It was 69e the licence for me.

Reaper, latest official version. And just to be perfectly clear, this hasn’t happened with any other plugin.

Reaper, latest official version. And just to be perfectly clear, this hasn’t happened with any other plugin.

Running on an M1 Air in Ableton 11 and I’ve regularly had 3-4 instances open with no issues.

Just discovered why it was doing that - had my interface set @ 64spls (and 24/96), lol. Not sure how or why, but anyway, it's working fine now.

I’ve been playing with Pigments, great synth but no way to smooth the LFO mod shapes?

Edit. Figured you can use the combinate mod section with lag… and plenty more

Combinator is very powerful for this sort of thing.

IMO, it's sonically much more pleasant to not have that smoothing.

There's notes fading in and out, it's not just chords. Don't know the key by ear, but I hear the root bass with a minor 7th above, then a 9th fades in. Then the bass note steps up a minor 3rd while I think the stuff above stays much the same..ish.

never had this problem.

Arturia Pigments 4 has landed
