IV is worth it for the library functionality. Any additional tape banks you have installed will automatically be mapped.

My Upgrade is for £29.99 (+VAT). I haven't pulled the trigger ... yet!
How do you get this upgrade offer? I don't see it in my account.

At the moment I don't even see the M-Tron Pro on the products page. :?

If you click on a link in the email and login it'll be 29£ plus tax.

It's going to be available tomorrow anyway, if you didn't get that email.

I opted out for the newsletter. That'll teach me...

They're not PA or Waves :)

I think I'm getting maybe 4 emails per year from them.

Installed it on my Win 11 Pro machine, but neither Reaper nor Bitwig will load the plugin successfully.

I got the £29 price just by logging in (and I own the previous versions.)
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Sounds like an installation issue. I installed last night and used it extensively with Reaper on Windows without issue.

I'd run the uninstaller, then install again from scratch. If you still have issues, reach out to support.

Which version of Windows are you on?

Then you still have to find the hidden product page, kindly posted by hey212. Once I put M-Tron Pro IV in my shopping cart I got the upgrade discount.

10, but I'd be surprised if you being on 11 was the differentiating factor. Microsoft hasn't made massive changes between the two operating systems from what I understand.

Event Viewer on my PC suggests the issue is related to a file ucrtbase.dll and related to a MS Visual C++ C Runtime. I've got a dozen different redistributables related to MS Visual C++ so may take a while to find one that causes issues.

Did you report this to G-Force? Sounds like the kind of thing they'd want to be aware of in case other users experience the same problem during the broader roll-out.

Post

I’m trying to find something I can report that may shed light.
I found an event viewer entry suggest a fault in ucrtbase.dll which relates to a Visual C++ c runtime.
Tried downloading the most up to date version of that runtime installer, but still getting the issue.
Will dig a bit more then report it.

The main problem is that writing and fixing code is what I do all day for my job. Not exactly enervated by the idea of trying to debug issues or report errors in other peoples’ stuff on my own dime in my own time.
