Changing the BPM of a multi-track project.

Hi all, I wanted to increase the BPM of one of my projects. So I increased the BPM in the control panel (bottom right). I wasn't sure if this would increase the BPM of the audio tracks, or just the tempo track. I was delighted to find that it changed the BPM of two of my audio tracks and my midi track. However, the other audio tracks remained unchanged, so I had to change them manually using Elastique Pro. Is there a way to get a BPM change to affect all the tracks in a project?

I think it's a property of the clip rather than the track but if you select a clip and check in the control panel at the bottom of the screen, there is a check box to switch on pitch and tempo adjustment based on the tempo for the whole song or for whatever the current value in the tempo map. You should check these are set correctly for all clips in your song so if you have lots of clips in a track it would be worth consolidating them into a single clip first.

Thank you kindly for pointing this out. Next time, I will make sure those check boxes are checked for all tracks. :tu:

Make sure you have all audio clips set to auto-tempo before you change the song tempo or enter tempo change events in the timeline.

Thank you for this. I will do that, next time. :)
