Are there any way at all to stop the arrow tool to switching to knife tool inside piano roll?
Any script out there that would stop this dual function?
I really really hate it when I am doing some fast piano roll editing and the arrow tool keeps switching to the knife... Even when I am zoomed closely it pops up if I am not careful in what part of the midi note my cursor is. :help:

Click the little left bracket next to the arrow tool toolbar to turn off the dual function

This works only in the Arranger Window, doesn't work inside piano roll (Editor)? Or did they add it to work also in piano roll in Studio One 6?

My bad in that case I'm not sure :(

It's definitely possible because mine doesn't do it at all. It used to do it and then it just stopped working. I thought maybe an update brought new behaviour but it's more likely I accidentally turned it off but now I can't restore it, either. Maybe it's not a feature in Artist but I'm pretty sure it had stopped working in Pro before I switched.

I have Studio One version 5 pro.
I can't seem to find any way to turn it off inside the piano roll.
I have Windows 11 if that makes any difference?

Yeah, me too and, like I said, it just stopped working. I actually liked it the way it was and I'd be happy enough to get it back if I knew how. I tell you what is really annoying, though - the hotkey for the knife tool is "'3" in the arrangement window and "2" in the piano roll.
