I completely forgot about Propellerheads last special upgrade offer to upgrade to Reason 12 ran out on June 30th . Been far too busy with other things... the upgrade is back at £200. Oh well, there's no way I'm upgrading now, better off-putting that on an upgrade for Studio One instead I think.

For those wondering what I'm talking about, https://reasonstudios.com/blog/offline/
"How Does This Affect Me?
On September 25, 2023, we are discontinuing the old authorization system which is used by Reason 6-11. You will still be able to authorize those older Reason versions by logging in online. Read more"
The discount code no longer works.
Upgrade pricing has been jacked up by £130, and we are months away before the old authorisation is switched off.
-------------------
These days, I'm not in a rush to upgrade to the latest DAWs, but come Black Friday, S1 6 Pro with video timeline support and a lot of bug fixes, could well be the ticket for me. Studio One Pro upgrades currently stands around £129. I'm still on 4.6. Actually, it can be had for less than that atm from Gear4Music (UK), for £109 inc vat.

Which one?
Shatner’s were better.
They did 4 or 5 each. They were like the Lennon and McCartney of intergalactic space. Which is pretty far out and cosmic.

Shatner's 'Has Been' was great! He even did a "duet" with Henry Rollins.jamcat wrote: Sat Jul 08, 2023 8:53 pm Which one?

shatner just chose better songs to cover, rocket man and lucy being the two big ones of course, nimoy had a harder time dropping things like bilbo baggins and such. but he did it!

Pulling this thread back on topic (cough cough), I wanted to let you guys know that today, on my way to work, I thought it would be nice to get my employees some donuts, but I also needed caffeine (it's been a LONG weekend). Unfortunately, the coffee place and the doughnut places are on different routes, so I chose caffeine and didn't get my team any donuts.
At least I got my Bitwig update for the year while it was on sale.

I assume you’re not in the UK, otherwise all your team would be on strike by now over the lack of donuts.idoru97214 wrote: Mon Jul 10, 2023 6:47 am Pulling this thread back on topic (cough cough), I wanted to let you guys know that today, on my way to work, I thought it would be nice to get my employees some donuts, but I also needed caffeine (it's been a LONG weekend). Good call, and even more so! I work in the US, for the US government! And though my employees are union represented, they are considered 'critical' staff and therefore cannot legally strike.
It's almost too perfect - Just like Bitwig <-- remaining on topic.
