OK, barring all the cracked SW implications, the simplest way to layer SW instruments is to just copy the MIDI tracks and send them to the two/three synths you want to layer.

I'm with mjones4th here, all cracked SW implications aside ...insulator wrote:I want to be able to hear the audio from the other audio tracks so I can play along but nort record it?
Isn't this about monitoring? I haven't got Sonar, but with Cubase you just record-enable a track and monitor the signal whilst the rest of the tracks are playing - that way you can play along without recording anything.
Failing that, check ttdown.com to see if they have the answer
Mine's a Stella. Cheers !

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt.
You want to create audio tracks that combine the same MIDI part playing multiple synths, correct?
Step 1. Copy the MIDI data to alternate tracks
Step 2. Send the outputs of the different tracks to the different synths
Step 3. Select both the MIDI tracks and synth output tracks
Step 4 Edit | Bounce to Tracks
Now please, if you didn't buy the software, buy it.

this is funny, the guy asks for help and gets a reply that he's using softwarez, like most of you all do,except me, I use hardwarez. If I'm not wrong, I think he needs more inputs in his soundcard to do what he wants to do.
