What about VeeSTeeEx? It comes in 32 and 64 bit flavors..RunBeerRun wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2023 10:11 pm I'm on Windows 11 but I only use 32 bit hosts so I didn't download anything but the modular synth standalone one and I checked out the sub webpage.
So I guess my non -64 bit votes will go to them.

Yes I can vote for that one too. I didn't download it because it doesn't make any sounds.

Too bad: We only test plugins that can also be installed "portably".
In the case of the "mshift8" pitch shifter from Flanders Tech,
this is unfortunately not possible. It is also not possible to
unpack "Setup.exe" with universal unpacker 2 (Windows8,
Windows 10). A pity!

he is playing it with some kind of midi controller?

Hi, I'm the developer of Subsim. It's a web-only application by design; it doesn't actually process audio in any way, it just shows an approximate visualisation of a given configuration of physical speakers in a 2D space, and as such, it doesn't *need* to be an actual downloadable and installable application (so why should it clutter your computer by being a standalone app); I intend to give it offline capabilities in the future, so that you'd be able to access it from e.g. a browser bookmark even when you're offline, but I haven't been able to make that work reliably just yet. In any case, I'd be mighty surprised if Windows XP could run a modern enough version of *any* web browser to actually run this.. sorry!

it's true, windows xp is rejected by newer browsers
and java scripts makes my old browser sluggish or frozen
i do have another computer that is run by windows 7
the bios thingy says it's made in 2011
but i never use it for internet
just for musicmaking mostly
as far as i know it's virus free
but i like windows xp
my 10,000+ vst plugin collection were made for windows xp
and a few newer stuff still runs on it
i woud have liked to have tested all the kvr dc 2023 entries
that way, i can vote properly
hey maybe your entry deserves first place
but i can't vote for it because i never tested it
but maybe it doesn't matter that much
i mean, how many vst plugin users are still on windows xp?
i really don't know
anyways, i'll wait for the offline version of your entry and test it later
thanks very much in advance
