had a dream about plasmonic last night
it had some weird arp thing, that could mute or sorta hammer on from the last note in the arp on specified steps
also had some weird "string change" thing, where the arp would continue as if it had been played on another string
(slightly different timbre and would raise up or down by 4 or 5 scale degrees)
there was some weird percussion thing too, can't quite recall
very bizarre dream

This is an beautiful sounding synth I'm gonna buy the full version - and if you run it through a creative feedback delay like U-he MFM2 it is like on steroids!! They go hand in glove

There is a lot more to the "Plasmonic sound" than simply running everything through a certain type of filter.rubez wrote: Tue Jul 04, 2023 9:36 pm I tried the demo very interesting but I most surf presets.
The sideband filter on Roland System 8 reminds me of the Plasmonic sound very much. It is the same kind of thing?
Once you start to get the hang of it, its pretty awesome what it can do.

if somebody could point me to a good preset pack....or two
I´m quasi only interested in very percussive* / very plucky stuff.
Any tipps ?
My weight lies here on the "dynamics" and "expressivity" a sound has.
...playing by hand, with keyboard.
(i really don´t need anything other )
* percussive, as is in "Piano-playing".
just that i don´t care too much for any longer releasetimes. But some flexibility -within the single sound- is welcome

LOL,
yes, i know what envelopes are.
Are you aware how dynamic, expressive, and versatile a Piano is, *without* any need to adjust any envelopes ?
I think you didn´t get the point i tryed to make...( vs. my requested sounds -> i´d like to purchase)

Same for me. I was sure I was going to buy before installing the demo and that it only was a routine check to see if it was buggy. It did fight against my muscle memory. I don't remember why (something with the sliders, maybe mouse wheel not working or things going backwards) only that I got a bit nervous using it. Probably I had a bad daymartiu wrote: Wed Jul 12, 2023 9:49 pm man i still have the demo and i like the sound a lot but the workflow is not good for me, such a shame

Add me to the list of people who feel like they’re fighting against the interface - hoping there’s an update at some point to offer a more conventional option.
Particularly when you’re often switching between this and other plugins and daw controls that pretty much follow the usual conventions.
