In 64bit OS, there are 32bit version and 64bit version of REGSVR32.

32bit version : %systemroot%\SysWoW64\regsvr32.exe
64bit version : %systemroot%\System32\regsvr32.exe

Did you correctly use 32bit version?

This is on my top list of the best pieces of software ever made for any musician that has been into digital audio for some years.

But I have a complaint. Since it is free, where is the donation button? :x

Has anyone been successful in running 32bit DX Plugins in Ableton Live?

I tried with dxshell + shell2vst + jbridge, but while the plugins show up as being available in Abletons sidebar after jbridging, adding them to a track freezes Ableton without the plugin-ui opening. Maybe jbridge needs some manual setting to make it work?

Try enabling the “prevent main host control when the GUI window is closed” option in jBridge's options.

That did work, thanks! I still get some "opcode 3" or opcode 24 messages when using the GUI more extensively and the plugin window suddenly freezes, then restarts itself, but I guess thats just the way the plugin is, no matter what other jbridge settings I tried...

Glad the solved the initial problem, but, could you PM me with more details and we'll go on from there? Just to keep this thread on topic. :) Using an adapter on top of another adapter will certainly increase the chances of something going wrong, but in this context, a well written plugin that can be loaded as a dll in the OS you're running could be perfectly salvageable with these wrappers/bridges.
