The only one of those that I own is Spektral Delay, and I stopped using it a long time ago, I’m not even sure I know where the installers are. I had it and Vokator. I should dig them up and see if I can get them going.machinesworking wrote: Sun Jul 09, 2023 6:40 pmAre you still able to use Kompact, Impact, Spectral Delay, B3, Akoustic Piano etc, etc? From them? What surprised me the other day is loading Kompact instruments into Kontakt worked pretty well, even on Mac OS.

You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

AI and graphic arts can have strange results. For all we know, there should have been a car maker named NIA, but the pointy haired bosses were too drunk to notice

Kontakt 7 interface is zoomable now - but most of the libraries are not yet and that will take a while

Any interface can zoom now. It'll get blurry if you overdo it, but really helps with old libraries like Spitfire Albion that are absurdly small. Bump those up to 125 or 150% and it's pretty good.aMUSEd wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2023 4:39 pm Kontakt 7 interface is zoomable now - but most of the libraries are not yet and that will take a while

Yes they can all be zoomed but with varying degrees of scalability; some newer libraries like Lunaris 2 that come with higher res assets already scale better while many of the older libraries look dreadful but it still helps - but what I meant is only the Kontakt 2 factory library and one other are actually made to scale well when zoomed into so far using NI's new interface technology for Kontakt libraries.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2023 5:33 pmAny interface can zoom now. BTW NI made some significant browser improvements in 7.5 that have tipped it into being almost useable, if still a long way to go. Thread in the Sampling section - viewtopic.php?t=599237

The Kia logo is idiotic also. It looks like КИ which are two Russian letters.jamcat wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2023 8:25 am Is it just me, or does the new NI logo look like it wants to be Kia?

Or like KN Filters bought a car company and hired a dyslexic logo designer.

I have to admit some of the newer scripted Kontakt instruments are really cool. They are inspiring to me. Examples for me include Noire, Piano Colors, Playbox, and others. I still have some old favorites like the stuff from Soniccouture and Hollow Sun, too.
