I don’t normally get excited about gate plugins. But I’m genuinely excited to try this one out!

I’m hoping it’s as impressive as the rest of their product line.

Many times I've wanted a gate that could gate different sounds from an audio file uniquely. Oxford Drum Gate does something like this, but it's frustrating to use, and I've found limitations with it. I'm interested to hear what Smart:gate can do.

looks good for people making pop music or mixing bands. Not so much for people using more varied inputs eg field recordings / classical instruments etc
Hopefully I am wrong and there is some sort of ability to learn and match patterns - but I dont think so

I’m sold on this video alone. The fact that it can differentiate between vocal and guitar bleed. And it’s not based solely on threshold only. Instant buy.

Wow. Finally had a chance to play around with this gate. I only wished I had this plugin earlier. I can only imagine what Sonible comes up with next. Possibly smart delay?
