For those who might have missed, there's a recent release "Iterata X" for Falcon, Part 1 Allure available, featuring atmospheres, granular atmospheres and sequences.
Hypnotic, pulsating, suggestive, ominous, alluring and hauntingly gorgeous, could serve as descriptions.
Read all about it and listen more here.

The multi envelope will get you into audio rate territory, but there is no cross-modulation between oscillators, here is a video I made some years ago:GuyaGuy wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 2:51 am Does Falcon have a noise source that can be used for audio rate modulation?
(I'm still looking at it vs its competition)

Ah, OK maybe in 3.0…Sampleconstruct wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 7:28 pmThe multi envelope will get you into audio rate territory, but there is no cross-modulation between oscillators, here is a video I made some years ago:GuyaGuy wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 2:51 am Does Falcon have a noise source that can be used for audio rate modulation?

Thanks for the video. Definitely gets skronky!

Did you know that Falcon's Texture Oscilator can import single cycle waveform?
I didn't. But now, it become "normal" digital oscilator. And it is much fun. Two waveform crossfading each, with Lowpass, Highpass twin filter(sorry, but without resonance). Off cause, we have Peak and Bandpass filter in addition to these. Modurating each filter frequency by ADSR or LFO, It become a feature rich mini synth. This is within oscilator level, so Keygroup's Fx is untouch. We can add more "True" filters adding to this.
The characteristics of the internal filter are nowhere near as good as they could be. But, I feel that the range of sound design has expanded greatly.

I have bought several expansions of Falcon, but the quality of the expansions for dance music seems low.
Each expansion has its own genre, but they all seem to diverge from the actual dance music genre.
I am hoping that as a result of the merger with Image Line, they will release expansions that are more in line with current dance music.
Or, it would be good to appoint a talented sound designer like Miruko Ruta.

Thank you. I believe when asking for cross modulation between oscillators, that the only result that is any different than what we can already achieve with the modulation provided is exactly this.

Sorry for the dumb question but...
Can I use samples from UVI Soundbanks in Sample and Granular oscillators? If I go to where the UFS files are stored (Library>Application Support>UVISoundBanks I can only get to UFS files. I'm guessing that means I can't use the wav file that's part of the UFS?

I have Inner Dimensions expansion and I that it is in line with current dance music (Melodic House, Trance, Böhmer type stuff etc.). Some Falcon expansions are quite old and not my taste, but not all.strovoknights wrote: Sat Jul 22, 2023 5:35 pm I have bought several expansions of Falcon, but the quality of the expansions for dance music seems low.

Load a patch with samples you want to use, locate the keygroup(s) with the sample oscillator, save oscillator presets, load those presets in a new patch.
