What do you use most. Mine is a 1980 Fender precision special. It is used in everything. It was only made for couple of years. It was there first ever active bass. Very unique sound very raw for an active bass. Then microkorg it,s the microkorg

Korg Wavestate. Despite all the wonderful analogues I have and regularly use, it's probably Wavestate just because it makes such glorious pads. I love its vocal and string sounds especially but it also makes great cinematic evolving pads and I use it a fair bit for real instrument type sounds rather than straight samplers. Probably 80% of what I do is analogue but for basses, leads, boings and blips I use different analogues for different things, eg different synths for subs, twangy bass, squelch bass. Different synths for stabs then wobbles and boings. But keep on coming back to Wavestate for bread and butter pads'n'instruments in almost all styles of music. I'm an analogue fanboy through and through but Wavestate wins for versatility and usability.

Not an easy question to answer, but I guess I’d say that, with my current setup, it’s probably my PolyBrute, simply because it sits in front of me at my DAW and gets used as both a controller and a synth. However, I use my Novation Remote as a controller for most of my rack/desktop synths, so it probably gets used about the same amount?
If we’re talking over the long run, then it’s probably my trusty G&L L-2000 bass that I bought brand new back in ca. 1996 and played on countless gigs.

Synthstrom Deluge. Start out sketching ideas on it in the back yard, or in the basement, then plug it into the pile of junk, and change instruments out.
