Jay Graydon posted in January on his site that there are issues to be addressed with the Famous E – specifically mentioning a bug with the chorus levels in his preset patches, some improvements to stereo mode, and an enhancement that will auto-match the chorus and tremolo to the DAW tempo. Jay said those fixes should be coming soon, but according to the Famous E product page, the last update was on October 27, 2020. Is this update still forthcoming?

Yes, the update is still in development. We've already finished a bunch of things like the new cabinet emulation effect and other improvements/additions like Jay mentioned.

Regarding setting the chorus mix on Jay's preset to 12 o'clock, you can quickly do that by CTRL+clicking on the mix knob to reset it to that position. In the update that change will already have been made in his presets, of course.

Yes, but the update is going to be a little bigger than originally anticipated since we decided to add some more effect modules, like a new tremolo effect that can sync to your DAW's tempo.

@gregjazz, it's been over two years since Jay Graydon posted that an update was "coming soon." Just wondering, can you share the current status?

Since I last posted, we finished adding a tempo sync option for the chorus effect module. Off the top of my head, the new tremolo module's functionality is the only thing left. So it's progressing, albeit slowly, only because we have so many other projects in development right now.
