Hi chk071. Thanks for replying. I already have scan at startup un-checked. So hidding plugins won't make a difference in load times?chk071 wrote: Sun Jul 23, 2023 3:22 pm If you rarely install new plugins, you can skip scanning completely.

I guess you have a startup template with all the instruments needed preloaded? Interesting question. Apart from having a fast computer and all your VSTs on a fast SSD drive its hard to see what else can be done to speed up loading times.

Hey dellboy. Yeah my template is setup for whatever I want to do with hardly any need to add plugins or setup tracks so it does take a while to load everything. Nowadays I open the template and go get my coffee while it loads everything. I have a very good computer setup imo but I'm also asking a lot of it. I just thought if there's something I'm not already aware of to speed things up I might find it here.dellboy wrote: Sun Jul 23, 2023 6:00 pm I guess you have a startup template with all the instruments needed preloaded? I guess it depends how you work. Some people choose quick loading plugins initially and then substitute them later on for premium sounding ones. Maybe make a quick load template and use either one or the other?dblock wrote: Sun Jul 23, 2023 6:07 pmHey dellboy.
