Thanks for checking it out for me, guys, I appreciate the effort. It might be something missing from my new laptop, a redistributable or something. If it's working for everyone else, I might update my other machine to 6.2 and see what happens. Thanks again for the feedback.

I updated my other machine and everything works perfectly. Now I am waiting to hear from PA's support. Hopefully it will be something simple/easy.

PA has the worst support. They somehow manage to be incredibly rude while being utterly useless at the same time. Most companies can only pull off one or the other at a time.

I find that it depends on who handles your issue. Some of the techies are very kind. And it has become apparent to me that some of the perceived ineptitude seems to lie with a communication issue (based in whatever procedural model they are using to govern this area) between the devs and techies. At points in the past, there was at least one dev who recognized the problem and tried to mitigate it, but I think he's gone now.

Sometimes the Event Viewer gives some hints of what causes the problem. I would check that also while waiting for an answer.

Don't sweat it, I have a gazillion other things to attend to before I worry any more about DS Thorn.
