Having downloaded some nice impulses from noisevault, some of the files are seperate left and right. I couldn't find a way of loading both files int SIR. My workaround was to load both files into Tracktion, pan hard left and right and then export as a stereo wav.

Is there ...

a) a way of importing seperate L & R mono files to SIR or

b) an easier (batch) way of merging mono files to a single wav.

Any help greatly appreciated

Not in SIR, but you can do that in Voxengo's PristineSpace.

I am having the same problem. The ones i really like, I open up in my sequencer and puts mono left and mono right on two seperate tracks and pan each hard left and hard right and then export it to a stereo file

i'm experiencing same kind of trouble.
Today i found (and downloaded)many some nice impulses. It was mentionned that they were for mac (.sit files), and made to work with Audioease's Altiverb.
I thought it would be .aif files, and that i had just to convert them to use with my PC.
Instead of that, it was unknown format files, ending .L and .R.
Can i convert these files in .wav format, to use with SIR, or is it just for Altiverb ??
